What are you searching for?

THE FOUNDATION OF A GREAT COACH IS COACHING FROM THE HEART

“When you work with a coach, you set out on a path to greater personal and professional fulfillment.”

Holistic Approach

People are far more than their ADHD diagnoses. They are made up of their strengths, passions, talents, their community, and are a huge part of what makes up our world. Heidi believes in ADHD & Christian Life Coaching from a strength based holistic approach, focusing on the whole person. Coaching provides a positive, specialized approach that encourages you to dig deeper to discover your unique design and supports you while you move forward to living the life you desire.

Accountability

Coaching supports with encouraging reminders and exploring other ways to manage time and accountability. Regular coaching meetings and check-ins are an essential part of the coaching process. Coaches help individuals with ADHD learn how the symptoms of ADHD play out in their daily lives. Coaches primarily ask questions to help the client reflect and discover their own answers to these questions. As an ADHD Life Coach we provide the process and guidance, but you’re the one who ultimately needs to do all the hard work to create change and progress.

Partnership

Coaching is defined as a “partnership” between the client and the coach. Both the client and the coach bring their own expertise to the coaching. The coach with the advanced knowledge of ADHD and the coaching process, and the client is the expert in their own life. A coach helps people with ADHD carry out the practical activities of daily life in an organized, goal-oriented and timely fashion. In close partnership, an ADHD coach helps the client learn practical skills and initiate change in his or her daily life.

Positive Results

Research shows that people partnering in coaching have many more positive thoughts and behaviours, such as taking greater responsibility for their actions, using goal-attainment skills, modulating emotions, managing stress effectively and increasing positive expectations for performance. Research also tells us that coaching improves study skills and learning strategies, such as time management and effective ways to improve concentration. People who engage in coaching benefit from an increased satisfaction with school, work and life.

Benefits of Coaching

What Makes Coaching Different?

What is an ADHD Life Coach?

Coaching is defined as a “partnership” between the client and the coach. Both the client and the coach bring their own expertise to the coaching. The coach with the advanced knowledge of ADHD and the coaching process, and the client is the expert in their own life. Coaches keep the responsibility with the client by allowing them to solve their own problems. When we take responsibility for others, it stunts their growth. Coaching provides a positive, specialized approach that encourages you to dig deeper to discover your unique design and supports you while you move forward to living your God-given destiny.  Coaches focus the conversation and push it toward action.

Heidi Fishbein

Certified ADHD & Christian Life Coach

Hello there, my name is Heidi and I am a Certified and Credentialed ADHD and Christian Life Coach based in Stratford, ON. My passion for coaching and belief in the benefits has led me to my role as the Assistant Director of Training at the International ADHD Coach Training Center (iACTCenter) as well as a coach instructor with iACTcenter and a coach trainer at Leadership Coaching Canada (LLC).

My holistic approach brings clarity, awareness, and growth and provides positive support for my clients. I have the privilege of partnering with my clients to live their best life, the life they were called to live, by filling the gap between where they are now, and where they want to be. By identifying where growth is desired, setting goals and holding accountability, my clients reach their most desired goals and start truly living out their dreams.

Are you experiencing the daily struggle of ADHD symptoms or executive functioning challenges? Do you feel like you’re disconnected from yourself, your identity, and who you are? Are the daily struggles holding you back from getting things done? Are you feeling a lack of motivation or lost in understanding your true purpose?

I am trained in helping people discover themselves and find their strengths, gifting, and talents which leads to adoring who God created them to be, fearfully and wonderfully made.

We all have a light within us. You are already born with the qualities you need to solve your problems and move forward. I partner with my clients as they reach each milestone, one at a time, with an ultimate end goal of building confidence, self-worth, strategies and empowerment.

I am the proud mother of two creative, spontaneous, and fun-loving boys. I truly consider myself blessed to have an incredibly supportive husband who shares my love of family and service to others. As a family, we enjoy being active in our community and church, sharing epic game nights, and pursuing various sports and outdoor adventures.

It is my Mission to help people see themselves as God sees them, to believe that you are not broken, you do not need to be fixed, and you are naturally creative, resourceful and truly whole! The answers you need are within you; let’s partner together to discover and experience the change you desire!
