Meet Your Mentor Coach
As an ICF Mentor Coach, I am deeply passionate about supporting coaches as they grow into their own unique style and voice. I believe every coach has a distinctive presence and way of being, and my role is to create the space, curiosity, and encouragement that allows that uniqueness to shine.
Through our work together, I empower coaches to dig deep, gain new awareness about their coaching, and step confidently into their own identity as professional coaches. I see mentor coaching not just as a requirement, but as a transformative process where coaches strengthen their skills, stretch into new possibilities, and cultivate a deeper trust in themselves.
I have completed my Certified Mentor Coach (CMC) training through inviteCHANGE, as well as my Advanced Certified Mentor Coach (ACMC) training with Fran Fisher. These experiences have shaped the way I mentor, bringing a balance of structure and intuition, feedback and reflection, challenge and compassion.
At the heart of my mentoring is a simple belief: when coaches are fully empowered in their own style and presence, they create the greatest impact for their clients and the world around them. It’s an honor to walk alongside coaches on this journey of growth, confidence, and discovery.

Mentoring
I had such a wonderful mentorship experience with Heidi. She radiates energy that is full of light and contagious! She expresses a genuine curiosity about your experience as you walk through the process together. As if I were a client, I felt like she was a partner who guided me to new self-awareness, encouraged me to remain authentic in my coaching style and acknowledged my skill progression. Her feedback, both in-session and written, was extremely thorough and supported my learning to go to the next level. I would definitely recommend her services as a mentor coach…FIVE STARS!

I am working on certification for Christian Leadership Life Coaching. At the beginning of my course, I had imposter syndrome because I struggled with pivoting from another business. I lacked confidence because I believed I was starting from “scratch.” Working with Heidi, I discovered I have the natural gifts and abilities to serve my clients. Heidi is a patient, kind, intelligent, professional, and insightful coach. Wise council. She is an inspiration. The biggest thing I have learned from her is what a coaching mindset is, how to structure my session and what my role is as a coach. Putting her teaching into practice has made a positive difference in my client’s outcomes. I know that after working with Heidi, I have the title of coach and have confidence, authority, respect, and honour for this work.

Heidi Fishbein is the best! As an instructor, she is patient, kind, and easy to work with, and as a mentor, Heidi can’t be beaten! As I progressed through my coursework with Heidi, I gained new insights about myself and the people around me. Heidi gently guided our cohort through a sometimes difficult process of growth. Heidi’s positive approach, energy and acceptance make her a magnetic person who draws you in and pulls you out of yourself. As a mentor, Heidi is patient and kind and was able to help me see beyond my insecurities and imperfections and see the big picture in a new light. I would highly recommend Heidi to anyone who might have the blessing of working with her.

Mentoring
I’ve done a lot of school over the course of my life, in some extraordinary institutions. And though I’ve had some exquisite teachers I have never before had a teacher like Heidi. Heidi has this uncanny ability to teach the content of coaching while also embodying coaching principles and beliefs. What does that mean exactly? In my experience it means that she has a masterful and nuanced understanding of the content she’s teaching while also being deeply compassionate and curious about people. She’s a beautiful example of just how powerful coaching and maintaining presence with others can be. She is a true master of her craft. It’s quite unique in my experience to meet someone like Heidi who can both do something so skillfully and also teach it with such clarity. She has an extraordinary ability to meet people exactly where they are – a trait which is incredibly valuable in both a coach and a teacher. She makes no assumptions about her students but listens with a keen mind and an open heart, guiding them with patience and insight. She challenges her students, delves deeply into the material while still making space for us as individuals, understanding that we all learn differently. And she seems always to want to learn more, even though she is clearly a “master” coach and teacher. And for all of her skill and professionalism she maintains a delightful ability to laugh at herself and learn from her mistakes. She sets an extraordinary example for the rest of us and I feel incredibly blessed to have her as a teacher.

Mentoring
Heidi creates an environment that is supportive yet challenging, offering specific feedback grounded in the ICF competencies that is immediately actionable. She helped me recognize my strengths while also guiding me to grow in the areas that mattered most. Rather than giving me answers, she encouraged reflection and supported me in developing my own authentic coaching style. She created opportunities for me to stretch beyond my comfort zone and grow into the strongest version of myself as a coach. Her written feedback always arrived in time for me to reflect and put her suggestions into practice, which kept me stretching my skills between sessions. What stood out most was how she effectively utilized coaching skills in the mentoring space, asking powerful questions that drew out my learning rather than simply delivering instruction. She modelled presence and awareness at the highest level while creating a safe space where I felt respected and never judged. Her empathy and patience, combined with clear standards, made the process both inspiring and transformative. I not only strengthened my skills but also gained greater confidence in myself as a coach.

Mentoring
Before working with Heidi, I struggled to identify areas I needed to improve in my coaching. Still, I wasn’t able to see how I was holding myself back based on my belief systems about myself and my business. In working with Heidi, I discovered that I can give myself permission to wear many hats – as a coach or consultant; either way, it’s a benefit versus a curse. I can offer many services to my clients once I am transparent. I also do not believe I am worthy of this calling in my life. After working with Heidi, I realized that I have everything I need inside of me to launch my business and step out in faith!

Mentoring
I have had the pleasure of working closely with Heidi as a mentor coach through the iACT program, and I have found her to be INSPIRATIONAL, INTUITIVE and INSIGHTFUL. She is extremely professional and proficient as a mentor coach and knows her stuff! She can draw out her clients in unexpected ways that are sometimes surprising. She is kind and thoughtful and keeps things on task – in an appropriately “coachy” way. She also comes up with great questions which really made me think. I highly recommend her as a mentor, coach and human being.

Can I just say that I am honored to have Heidi as my mentor? She’s an amazing soul with a heart for others and God. As a coach, she’s amazing in her own right. She inspires me and has helped me to become aware of my strengths, values, and talents. This led me to accept myself and to love myself more. So much so that I decided I wanted to coach just like her! Working with Heidi, the Coach and Mentor, has been a valuable learning experience. Her knowledge of ADHD and coaching others is helping me grow as a coach. Through her, I’ve learned the skill of communicating with clients, staying curious, and the importance of honoring my clients and the space they need. She has a way of helping you see what you may have missed. From mentoring with Heidi, I’m feeling more confident as a coach, willing to learn, and open to seeing things from a different perspective. It also helps that she has an AMAZING personality and spirit. You cannot lose working with her!
